Defect

If the vehicle is in a frontal collision severe enough to deploy the front airbags, the airbags may deploy with too much force, due to the possibility of over set parameters.

Hazard

This may lead to increased injuries to the occupants.

Remedy

Owners of affected vehicles affected by this recall will be contacted, requesting them to contact their preferred Retailer who will update the Restraint Control Module (RCM) with the latest software.
