Defect

Due to incorrect wiring, all lights on the trailer become inoperative when the vehicle ignition is off, including the hazard and brake lights.

Hazard

If the hazard or brake lights become inoperative, other road users may not see the stopped vehicle, increasing the risk of an accident or injury to vehicle occupants and other road users.

Remedy

Hyundai Motor Company Australia will notify affected owners by telephone and invite them to take their vehicles to an authorised Hyundai dealership to have the Trailer Wiring Harness inspected and repaired, free of charge.
