Defect

There is a manufacturing defect in the ABS circuit board with a risk of short circuiting when in contact with water.

Hazard

In the event of short circuiting, there is a risk of fire.

Remedy

Consumers should return the vehicle to an authorised Hyundai dealership to have a new power circuit board kit installed.
