Defect

Defect in the parking brake switch that could fail to alert the driver when the park brake is still engaged.

Hazard

Driving with park brake engaged could induce the risk of vehicle crashing and cause hazard to other road users.

Remedy

Hyundai Motor Company Australia will write to individual owners requesting them to make arrangement with their nearest Hyundai dealer to inspect and rectify the vehicles, free of charge.
