Recall date: 11 June 2015
In certain driving conditions, the Collision Mitigation Braking System (CMBS) may unexpectedly activate while operating the vehicle. In rare cases, the system may interpret certain roadside objects, such as metal fences or guardrails, as obstacles and apply emergency braking through the CMBS.
If the CMBS applies unexpected emergency braking force during normal operation, it could increase the risk of a crash.
Owners of the affected vehicles will be contacted by mail. The dealer will conduct a software update to the CMBS, free of charge.
