Defect

Water may be able to enter the wiring harness and corrode the rear brake light switch.

Hazard

If the brake light switch fails, this poses a hazard to the driver and other road users.

Remedy

Cease using the motorcycle immediately. A letter is being sent to affected owners. Owners are advised to present their machine at their nearest Honda dealer for modification.
