Defect

Under certain conditions, when owners fit after-market head-light bulbs, the ground wire terminals inside the sub-harness connector may overheat and melt the wiring connector, causing loss of power to various circuits.

Hazard

A loss of critical lighting or engine power could occur without warning which could cause a crash.

Remedy

Honda will contact owners of affected vehicles
