A cross-member at the base of the rear seat frame may have been improperly welded to the seat frame.
If a vehicle with an improperly welded seat frame is involved in a rear impact accident, there is an increased risk of injury to vehicle occupants.
Holden will contact affected owners in writing and advise them to present their vehicle to a Holden dealer to have the seat frame welding inspected. If a defective weld is identified, the seat frame assembly will be replaced free of charge.
