Defect

ADR62/2 specifies towing equipment is required to comply with Australian Standards AS4177.2-2004. Affected vehicles do not conform as the stipulated minimum clearance between the tow ball when fitted, and the rear bumper bas fascia is less than the specified 65mm.

Hazard

Mechanical malfunction.

Remedy

Consumers will be contacted by letter at their last registered address.
