Defect

Due to insufficient retention properties of the driveshaft circlip, the left hand front driveshaft may become disconnected from the transmission under certain driving conditions such as high speed driving. If the driveshaft does become disconnected the vehicle will lose drive.

Hazard

Mechanical failure.

Remedy

Owners of affected vehicles will be contacted directly by mail.
