Defect

Due to an error in the casting of the steering wheel boss, the horn harness may be damaged or cut off when the steering wheel is turned.

Hazard

If the vehicles horn fails it can present a potential hazard to the driver and other road users.

Remedy

All Owners of affected vehicles will be contacted individually by letter All vehicles involved in this campaign will have the steering wheel replaced inaccordance with the Hino work procedure sheet.
