Defect

Certain motorcycles may run out of fuel while the fuel guage indicator shows fuel remaining, and in some cases before the low fuel warning lamp illuminates.

Hazard

If the defect occurs it could cause the engine to stop running unexpectedly, posing a potential traffic hazard.

Remedy

Consumers should take their motorcycle to their nearest Harley Davidson dealer for repairs free of charge. Harley Davidson is contacting all affected owners.
