Defect

The curtain airbag, seat belt pre-tensioner and side impact sensor circuits have been incorrectly orientated in the main wiring harness.

Hazard

If the side airbags do not deploy correctly there is an increased risk of injury to the vehicle occupants during a collision.

Remedy

Owners are advised to contact their nearest Ford Dealership for inspection and rectification. For further information, contact any Authorised Ford Dealer or Ford's Customer Relationship Centre on 1800 503 672.
