Defect

If the engine overheats this can result in an oil leak, leading to loss of engine oil.

Hazard

Engine oil may come into contact with the road, creating a slippery surface and therefore a potential accident hazard for other road users.

Remedy

Ford will write to owners of all affected vehicles. Owners are advised to contact their Ford authorised Dealership for inspection and rectification. For further information, contact any authorised Ford Dealer or Ford's Customer Relationship Centre on 1800 503 672.
