The fastening pivot of the side stand may become slack.
If the fastening pivot becomes slack, the side stand sensor switch may malfunction. If the sensor switch malfunctions the bike could be ridden with the stand still down or the engine could stop.
Owners of affected motorbikes should contact an authorised Ducati dealer as soon as possible to arrange an inspection and repair of their motorbike.
