Defect

With steel flex brake lines with a PA internal hose, the long suspension travel distrances can cause the internal hose to tear. Brake fluid is then able to escape through the steel flex sheath causing immediate loss of the rear brake action.

Hazard

Brake failure.

Remedy

Contact your BMW Motorcycle Dealer.
