2024 INDIAN MOTORCYCLES MY24 Chieftain, Roadmaster Springfield, Challenger and Pursuit.

The rear suspension may not meet manufacturing specifications and could buckle. If this occurs, there is a risk of contact between the rear tyre and the chassis, the main wiring harness or the coolant reservoir. Additionally, the rear of the motorcycle may bottom out leading to a loss of vehicle control.

2022–2023 INDIAN MOTORCYCLES MY23-24 FTR

Due to a manufacturing defect, air present in the front brake system may cause a loss in hydraulic brake line pressure. This may result in loss of braking performance.

2023 INDIAN MOTORCYCLES Springfield

Due to a manufacturing defect the crankshaft position sensor may have been incorrectly routed. As a result, the sensor may contact the front exhaust system head pipe. If this occurs, it may result in the engine stalling during operation causing a loss of motive power.

2021–2022 INDIAN MOTORCYCLES 2022 Chief and Model Year 2021-2022 Scout

Due to a manufacturing issue, the fuel pump may fail during operation. This will result in an unexpected loss of vehicle power.

2019–2022 INDIAN MOTORCYCLES FTR

Indian Motorcycle has determined the affected motorcycles may experience a failure at the coolant junction resulting in coolant loss during operation.

In some vehicles, the piston retaining ring located in the rear master cylinder may not fully seat into the machined groove in the master cylinder bore. Motorcycles assembled with an affected master cylinder may experience a loss of fluid pressure to the rear brake caliper resulting in rear brake failure.
