2024 INDIAN MY25 Scout

Due to a software issue, the rider display may incorrectly indicate "Neutral" gear. This may lead to unintended movement of the vehicle.

Due to a software issue, the rear turn signal lights may be slightly illuminated when not in use and brightly flash when operating.

2013–2020 INDIAN CHIEF, CHIEFTAN, ROADMASTER, SPRINGFIELD

The gear position switch used may provide an inaccurate signal, which can lead to an incorrect gear being displayed in the rider display.

2013–2016 INDIAN CHIEF

An electrical defect may cause unexpected loss of forward lighting, including high and low beam headlights and fog lights. If this occurs, the High Beam indicator will flash on the gauge cluster.

2019 INDIAN FTR 1200, CHIEF, CHIEFTAN, ROADMASTER, SPRINGFIELD, DARK HORSE

The motorcycles may have a defect in the 10 amp circuit breakers.

Models equipped with Anti-Lock Brakes (ABS) may experience decreased brake performance resulting from the presence of air in the brake circuit. This may cause a soft brake lever/pedal feel and a decrease in brake performance.

2017–2018 INDIAN 111ci

Some MY2018 111 ci motorcycles have been manufactured with a right-hand switch cube that does not meet quality standards. Affected switch cubes may develop corrosion within the Stop/Run/Start circuit. If the motorcycle key fob is stored on or near the motorcycle and all other safety interlocks are met, an affected switch cube could lead to unintentional vehicle power-up or start sequence.

2015–2018 INDIAN ROADMASTER

The trunk jumper harness used on Roadmaster models was manufactured without silicone plugs that are intended to keep water out of the unused connector terminals. This may allow water ingress and potential corrosion.

Some motorcycles equipped with halogen headlights may have been assembled using a non-compliant headlight not matching Australian Design Rules (ADR) requirements.

On certain motorcycles, there may be insufficient clearance between the fuel rail and the engine. This can result in abrasion of the fuel rail.

Unburned fuel can be routed in to the exhaust system, which can cause elevated exhaust temperatures.
